What is it

To celebrate our recent Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Award, we wanted to give back to the community we've served for over 30 years.

We are now offering grants to local organisations that help older Australians stay engaged, socially connected and supported in their communities.

Whether you're a local club, community group or new initiative creating opportunities for seniors to come together, we’d love to support what you’re doing. Read on to learn more!

What can the funding be used for?

The program is intentionally flexible, as we know that you understand your members' needs best. If it helps seniors stay connected with their community, you're welcome to apply. 

Fundraising support

Help boost your next event with raffle prizes or resources.

Social and wellbeing programs

Run regular activities that bring people together.

Facility upgrades or repairs

Improve the spaces your members rely on.

What we ask in return

In return for funding, we'd love to share your story by asking for a few simple things:

A photo of us presenting you with the grant

Feature your story on our website

Update on how the grant made a difference to your organisation

Share any help or home care resources your members may need

Why we're doing this

 

For over 30 years, Harbour At Home has supported older Australians to live well at home.

Every day, we see how important community connection is to wellbeing as people age.

Being part of a group, staying social, and feeling connected can make a real difference to quality of life.

This grant program is our way of giving back and supporting the local organisations already creating those opportunities in the community.
